About Shawnee

I have my Bachelors of Science in Special Education and Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Montana State University Billings. I have been teaching in Vegas for 1 year. I tutored students through high school as well as college.

About the lesson

I base my teaching on positive behavior supports. I believe in repetition and not moving on to the next task or skill until the student masters the first skill. I believe in teaching through play. Studies have shown that student learn well through playing games and movement. We are always moving about, singing, and playing games that involve core subjects.
