About Kayla
I am not only an educator, but also a leader. Education is not filling students with knowledge, but lighting a fire within themselves. My goal, as a teacher and a tutor, is to help students light that spark where they can grow as a learner and an individual. This is why I ensure that my teaching is engaging and indelible through thoughtful planning while continually and actively seeking opportunities for student feedback and professional growth.

I have experience teaching students with a variety of needs including ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, etc. My teaching style is always individualized to fit the learning style of the student whether that involves more hands-on-learning, visuals, games, anything that sparks interest.
I also have experience tutoring ESL as I have previously lived in Spain. Having studied the Spanish language for 6 years, I am able to teach Spanish as well.
