About Eric
I have 24 years of special education experience. I have learned that building a relationship and establishing trust with students is key when engaging in a task that is difficult. I use my experience as a father of 4 boys and my coaching experience as well as my teaching experience to support students in their efforts. My own experiences as a student plays a role with how I get students to engage in work that presents difficulty.

My approach is thoughtful, logical, and tailored specifically to fit your needs. Patience and understanding is what I bring to each lesson. Seeing the student perspective allows me to shape how we approach lessons so that the student can achieve success with a subject. Motivating and encouraging a student is also a part of the lesson. I want them to be successful in not just the lesson at hand but in life.
