About Dylan
Students,
My name is Mr. Dimond, I have been working in education for 5 years. I chose to work in education because when I was in school, I had a few teachers that were just so amazing that I wanted to be like them, I want to make students love learning something the way they did. I want to be able to see students get excited when they see how easy learning can be, especially when you learn, how you learn best. One thing I noticed when I first started teaching is that alot of students didn't know how to learn, they didn't know how to take notes or accommodate for themselves to make their learning experience the best that they can make it,
are you a visual learner, an auditory learner, Or are you a linguistic learner?That is something we will find out on our first session, which is one of the most important things to learn, so then you can make those accommodations for yourself and set yourself up for the best learning experience possible.

You should take lessons with me because I make learning fun. I can teach you ways to learn something that works best for you.
the approach I take to certain tasks and lessons, are much more comfortable for not only you the student but for me as well.
Form grades 6-12 I can help you with writing, reading, vocabulary.
In a typical session we would start out with a ice breaker or DOL, where they use some basic brain warming skills to get their brain thinking and then go over it, and then do some vocab activity, reading and reading comprehension and then some writing and the writing along with writing comprehension and parts of speech and disecting a paper. I strongly believe that my way I teach writing a paper is the absolute best and makes it feel like your not writing a paper
I specialize in working with students of all learning styles, Spec Ed, IEP, and gen ed
