I am certified in Special Education and Elementary Education with a math focused background who can make math fun and work with each student to find new ways to help understand different math concepts. Arithmetic, Pre Algebra, Algebra are areas of focus.

My teaching method is understanding each individual student’s strengths and needs, and tailoring their instruction based on their strengths. Math in a large part has to do with confidence. Confidence to inquire and problem solve. So my main goal is to start to build confidence in students who do not feel good at math or that it does not come naturally for. Once we build that confidence, the concepts become less intimidating!
