About All in Fighting
Coach Ritchie is from a fighting family. His grandfather was a fairground fighter known on the fairs as Mad Mike on account he never turned down a fight
One of Ritchie earliest arranged fights was with a Gypsy boy when they fell out and the families arranged them to sort their differences out on the local green
Ritchie joined the Army at 20 and was a member of the boxing team as well as training JKD with his Gurkha Sgt Til Saru
He has trained in Krav Maga as well as folk style wrestling and MMA and Bruce Lee JKD
Everyone is different and each person should use any skill that they find useful- there is no one size fits all when it comes to self defence

The Fence was created by legendary doorman and Self Defence Expert Geoff Thompson Coach Ritchie has 12 years of specialist Fence training and is one of the leading instructors in this British fighting style
All in Fighting Classes are held in Sheffield and are fully insured through the British Martial Art and Boxing Association
There are 8 main elements to Self defence which are
1 - The initial Confrontation this is the most important area of self defence - this is where we use The Fence
2 - Stand up Striking
3 - Stand up Grappling
4 - Takedowns and takedown Defence
5 - Ground Fighting
6 - Getting back to your feet
7 - strength and fitness and testing your skills
8 - weapons and more than one attacker All 8 of these elements are covered in All in Fighting
