About Michelle
Hello, I’m Chelle — a Qualified Teacher (QTS) and experienced leader with over 10 years of experience supporting children, young people, and adults with complex SEND needs. I specialise in trauma-informed, neuro-affirming learning and life skills coaching for individuals who may not thrive in traditional education settings, including those with Autism (including PDA), ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, anxiety, and communication or sensory differences. My approach is gentle, structured, and highly personalised, using creative and evidence-based strategies such as sensory activities, visuals, movement, and AAC tools to meet each learner’s individual needs. I focus on helping learners feel safe, understood, and confident, supporting communication, emotional regulation, independence, and essential life skills alongside academic learning. I am fully DBS checked and DSL trained, and I would be honoured to support you and your family.

My sessions provide personalised, trauma-informed, and neuro-affirming support for children, young people, and adults with complex SEND needs, including Autism (including PDA), ADHD, PMLD, SEMH, communication differences, and sensory sensitivities. Each lesson is carefully adapted to the learner’s interests, communication style, and emotional needs, using creative and evidence-based approaches such as visuals, movement, music, stories, and AAC tools. Sessions are calm, low-pressure, and built around trust and connection, helping learners feel safe, confident, and motivated. Alongside academic learning, I support emotional regulation, communication, independence, and essential life skills. Lesson lengths are flexible to suit individual needs, and range from short sensory-based sessions to longer structured coaching. If you are looking for compassionate, tailored support, I would be delighted to work with you.
Review
All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by students with Michelle.
Perfect! Michelle works like a magician; what comes through is her authenticity, her real love for the work she does. She listens, she weaves and she completely gets the student. She really holds the space to facilitate learning that is self initiated as opposed to memorising what is being taught. Our little man adores what we can only say is a gem of a teacher, and as a person very honest committed and genuine. She has quickly managed to win our son over. An absolute vital asset to the spirit of teaching. Thank you Michelle!
- A is a lovely young person to work with. They engage well with interactive activities and show great creativity, especially when given the opportunity to explore ideas in their own way. We have had two lessons so far and have begun to build a positive rapport. A has so much potential, and I am looking forward to continuing our learning journey together. :)Michelle's response :

Michelle is an extremely kind, dedicated, hard-working and wonderful teacher. Her relationship skills and knowledge base mean the students feel valued and are able to achieve their potential. I worked alongside Michelle, in an international school, and I learned so much from her style of teaching. Any institution would be lucky to have Michelle be a part of it.
Chelle is very professional and an outstanding tutor. She is kind and patient and feedback is clear and insightful.
I cannot recommend her enough.View more recommendations
