About Phyliss
Math became much easier to understand once the underlying logic was explained clearly and at a comfortable pace. This experience shaped my approach to teaching, where I break complex topics into simple, manageable steps.
I teach mensuration, algebra, calculus, mental math, and word problems by focusing on one concept at a time. My MSc in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University provides a strong analytical foundation for this structured and methodical approach.
My goal is to help students build confidence while developing a genuine understanding of mathematics. By working through each challenge step by step, I help learners make steady progress and feel more comfortable solving problems independently.
