About Heather
I am a mother of 4, substitute teacher, and college student. I enjoy reading in my free time and watching my 2 youngest children play soccer. My goal is to create an inclusive learning environment that is positive and engaging where students feel comfortable and confident.

My teaching method with young children is to ensure they are enjoying their learning process and staying engaged. I am skilled in quickly perceiving a student's learning style and using language and terminology that they best understand to ensure comprehension. Being neurodivergent myself and struggling in school as a child, I especially enjoy helping neurodivergent children to discover their individual strengths.
