About Dehli
I graduated from college with a passion for teaching and spent two years teaching 7th grade English. Throughout my time in the classroom, I focused on creating a fun and engaging learning environment where students could explore their creativity while building important skills. I believe that learning doesn’t have to be boring—it can be exciting and full of discovery. My approach centers on setting achievable goals, encouraging self-expression, and helping students find joy in the writing process. I love seeing my students grow not only as writers but also as confident, creative thinkers.

I center my English lessons to be fun and engaging which can make learning feel less like a chore and more like an exciting challenge. Here’s are a few approaches that combine creativity, interaction, and skill-building: - Use themes that resonate with middle school students’ interests. Incorporating song lyrics, movies, or trending books to analyze figurative language, tone, and writing styles. -Quick writes that give students freedom to express their thoughts, ideas, and creativity. This also gets students comfortable with writing spontaneously and their thoughts away from overthinking. - Exploring current events to practice reading comprehension and different writing styles.
