About John
I have had all kinds of different experiences and I've lived in a lot of different places all over the country from the big cities (NYC) to small farm towns in the Midwest. I live in Florida now and I must say, I do not miss winters and snow! I have a puppy named Brody and I love to practice the ukulele and write.

Hi! My name is John Secor. I am excited to work with adults who want to speak and write English. I have lots of experience working with writers and speakers. I used to be a newspaper editor. Tutoring has introduced me to so many wonderful people. My student roster is extremely varied. I've found if you have an honest desire to learn the ins and outs of the English language from a native, then we will get along very well. What I didn't expect was making so many lasting friendships and really getting to know so many students.
