About Zanna
-French-American -4 AP Spanish (8th grade) -5 AP French (10th grade) -7 IB Spanish (11th grade) -Seal of Biliteracy in Chinese (Self-study) Many students struggle with auditory and spoken aspects of the language, which is actually my specialty. I am really good at making conversations and understanding context/different situational vocabulary. I've helped many classmates/students work on their oral examinations for IB and AP. The orals and listening are ALWAYS the hardest parts, and I can help you practice! I attended a bilingual Spanish school for over 10 years, and I speak French at home! (I also speak some conversational Mandarin). I think the best way to learn a language is to have fun doing it, and to practice! Practice! Practice!

My goal is to ultimately speak to you entirely in French/Spanish the whole time! (Unless you are needing a different pace) The AP exam uses many different synonyms, varied vocabulary, and different accents, so a multitude of experiences and conversations is key! My tutoring style is a blend of academic-oriented practice (practice questions, grammar, vocabulary), AP specific (test format, AP tips) and real-life experience (100% speak the language during our lessons, real-world videos/music/content). Ultimately, I want you to learn the language in a fun (and efficient) manner! You can ace the tests and also be good at speaking and communicating in the language :)
