About Steven
Technical control serves the song, not the other way around. You deserve a space where you can explore the nuances of your own range without judgment. Since I hold a degree from McGill, our sessions incorporate structured exercises to improve your microphone technique and genre styling.
Whether you are prepping for an exam or just want to feel better about your vocal clarity, we work through the mechanics together. It is quite straightforward once you understand the physics of your own instrument. Feel free to bring in a song you want to try out.

Spending my weekends listening to vocal recordings helps me understand exactly how voice texture shifts across genres. You might notice that I pay close attention to the small details in breathing control. My students range from teens finding their artistic voice to professionals decompressing through song after a long shift. Because I hold an MA in Music Education from McGill, I frame every technical exercise in a way that is easy to digest.
I enjoy watching a student gain performance confidence as they learn to navigate their head and chest voice. Expect a clear and grounded environment where your vocal development is the priority.
