Hi! I’m a dedicated Spanish tutor with seven years of formal study and immersive language experience in Spain and Mexico. I earned an Advanced Mid rating on the OPIc, demonstrating strong speaking proficiency and real-world communication skills.

I specialize in supporting beginner and early-intermediate students who are currently enrolled in Spanish classes and need extra guidance. I am patient, organized, and committed to helping students build confidence, strengthen grammar skills, and feel comfortable speaking. My goal is to create a supportive, professional environment where students feel capable, prepared, and successful.

About the lesson

I am a Spanish tutor with seven years of formal study, travel experience in Spain, and two months studying Spanish language, Mayan culture, and literature in Mexico. I earned an Advanced Mid rating on the OPIc, which reflects strong speaking proficiency and real-world communication skills.

Teaching Method & Techniques:
I focus on building confidence through guided conversation, clear grammar explanations, and practical application. I break down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and use examples, visuals, and repetition to reinforce understanding. I also tailor sessions to current classroom material so students feel supported—not overwhelmed.

Typical Lesson Plan:
We review current assignments or challenging topics, clarify grammar points, practice speaking and listening, and end with applied exercises or conversation practice to solidify learning.

What Sets Me Apart:
I combine academic knowledge with real cultural experience and understand what it’s like to learn Spanish long-term. I’m patient, encouraging, and especially skilled at helping beginners feel comfortable speaking.
