About Leah
"I sometimes struggle to explain how 13 years of instruction passes so quickly when working with students. Holding an Artist Diploma in Vocal Studies from the Royal College of Music provides a unique perspective on string intonation and phrasing for my 59 students.
My current roster includes learners of all ages who require focus on sight reading, posture and hold, and classical repertoire. I also emphasise music theory, spiccato and staccato bowing, tone production, and ear training to ensure technical accuracy. This background allows me to support diverse goals for my current student base."

"Hearing the crisp sound of a bow catching the string for the first time is a genuinely satisfying moment. I teach using the techniques earned during my Artist Diploma studies to ensure your posture and intonation remain consistent. We spend time on spiccato and staccato bowing, which adds necessary flair to your classical repertoire. I prepare a monthly progress report shared with parents to keep everyone aligned on our goals.
Music theory and ear training are integrated into the session, as I believe these are vital for true musicianship. You are welcome to reach out to schedule your first meeting."
