About Russell
I have six years experience as a tutor. Two of which were as a teaching assistant at Clark University (Worcester, Massachusetts) in the Astronomy department. I have had about 40 students to date. My students have gone on to significantly improve their scores at GCSE where possible. Most of my A Level students have gone on to get an A* or A in the subject which I have taught them.
I have received a fairly broad education including my degree in Physics at the University of Surrey specialising in quantum as well as university level modules in Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Multivariate Calculus, Genetics, Neuroscience and other disciplines at Clark University.

I am happy to create a customised learning plan of variable length for each client based on our first meeting and desired results. During our first session I would like to gauge where the student is in terms of pertinent knowledge. I am able to cater to a range of students from those who struggle with the basics to those with are comfortable with relevant materials but want to ensure mastery of the topic at hand. In my years of experience I have found success in teaching students alongside their curriculum at school while going into more detail. I recommend one hour lessons for most students, especially if lessons are after school.
