About Sherrine

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Economics and a Master in Educational Management.

I have been teaching Mathematics for over 2 years, covering:
- Primary SJKC Math (Chinese or English medium)
- SPM Mathematics & Additional Mathematics
- IGCSE Mathematics (Core & Extended)
- IGCSE Additional Mathematics

I focus on helping students understand concepts, not just memorise steps. Many of my students have moved from failing to passing, and from passing to scoring.

I am patient, structured, and able to explain the same problem in different ways until it clicks.

About the lesson

I am currently an active Mathematics tutor (3+ years experience).

My teaching approach:
- Identify the student's weak areas first
- Teach step-by-step problem solving methods
- Use real past year exam papers for practice
- Combine handwritten practice with online quizzes for engagement

Class format:
- Length: 1.5 – 2 hours per session
- Size: 1-to-1 or small group (2-3 students)
- Language: English or Mandarin (student's preference)
- Levels: Secondary (Form 1-5 SPM, Year 7-11 IGCSE)
