About Edward

With 12 years of experience in singing and teaching, I am dedicated to helping students develop their vocal skills and confidence. I teach singing to school and college students who want to improve their voice, learn proper technique, or prepare for performances. My journey in music has taught me that singing is not only about talent but also about practice, discipline, and the right guidance.

In my classes, I focus on building strong basics such as breathing techniques, voice control, pitch, and expression. I always try to keep my lessons simple, clear, and engaging so that students enjoy the learning process. Throughout my teaching career, I have guided many students who started as complete beginners and later performed in school competitions, cultural programmes, and college events. Seeing their progress and confidence grow is the most rewarding part of my work.

I also encourage creativity and musical expression so students can develop their own unique singing style. My goal is to help students feel comfortable with their voice and understand how to use it properly. I believe that every student can improve with the right support and consistent practice. My teaching style is supportive, motivating, and focused on long-term vocal development. For me, teaching singing is about inspiring students to enjoy music while also helping them achieve their personal goals.

About the lesson

My methodology for teaching singing focuses on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and organised time management to provide productive and enjoyable lessons. I believe every voice is unique and has the potential to grow with proper training.

Lessons begin with breathing exercises, vocal warm-ups, pitch control, and tone improvement to establish a strong foundation. Students then practise song performance, interpretation, and emotional expression.

Creativity is encouraged so students can explore their musical style and connect emotionally with the music. I take time to understand each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and learning pace to provide personalised guidance and feedback.

Effective time management ensures that each session covers skill-building, song practice, and performance coaching. In addition to singing, I teach rhythm, music fundamentals, and stage presence to develop confident and well-rounded musicians.
