About Maxwell
Hi! I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and an Associate of Music in Contemporary Vocal Techniques. I specialize in helping young children and early teens grow as confident singers. My lessons are filled with creative energy—using games, movement, and stories to make learning fun and effective. We sing everything from Disney tunes to musical theater songs and folk melodies. I break down pitch, rhythm, and technique into playful activities that spark curiosity. My approach helps kids feel at ease while learning real vocal skills. Whether they’re preparing for a school play or just love to sing at home, I meet them where they are. We focus on stage presence, breathing, posture, and expression in a fun, age-appropriate way. I believe every child has a voice worth hearing. Encouraging their self-esteem and joy in music-making is always a priority. Each lesson is a safe space to be silly, explore, and grow. I love watching young singers light up with confidence. Singing can be exciting, empowering, and full of joy—and that’s exactly how we learn.

My singing lessons go beyond vocal warm-ups and song practice. I teach students how to approach singing as a whole performance—especially in studio environments. We work on tone, control, and style first. Then we explore microphone handling, how to adjust distance and tone for clean, dynamic recordings.
Students learn to walk into a studio session with confidence. I cover etiquette, communication, and how to work efficiently with producers and engineers. I also introduce vocal layering, background harmonies, and effects such as reverb and delay. These tools are taught clearly and applied musically.
Both classically trained and academically focused students benefit from this balanced approach. I help them translate their technique into a natural, expressive studio sound. The result? Polished, authentic recordings they can be proud of.
