About Jocelyn

I graduated from Stanford University in 2021 with Distinction (above 4.0 GPA), was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and received the Award of Excellence (given to the top 10% of the graduating class). I hold a degree in Computer Science and Psychology as well as a minor in Philosophy.

Being a recent college graduate who applied to colleges not so long ago, I have a thorough understanding of the ins and outs of the college admissions process. Besides being accepted to Stanford, I was also accepted to Princeton, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, and several other top colleges.

I now work at an education technology startup as a product manager, and am passionate about helping high schoolers learn and get into the college of their dreams!

About the lesson

I will teach you how to successfully apply to Stanford or any Ivy League, and/or tutor in Computer Science, Philosophy, and Psychology.

If you're interested in being tutored in Computer Science, Psychology, or Philosophy, I will offer custom plans and provide assignments, readings, and practice exams based off my time at Stanford to give you a highly accurate representation of what it's like to be a student at Stanford.

If you are a high school junior or senior looking to apply to Stanford or any other college, I will provide 1:1 coaching on how to make your applications stand out and be unforgettable to college admission readers. This includes reading and revising essays, helping structure and refine resumes, creating a cohesive story to your portfolio, and any other general guidance on making your application shine.

I can offer consulting on how to create a strong application to music schools. I can teach you how to navigate auditioning, and how to apply to schools for both academics and music performance.
