About Angela
Hi, I’m Angela, a Stanford student studying Economics and Energy Science & Engineering with a strong foundation in math and science and over 3 years of tutoring experience.
I attended a rigorous STEM-focused high school, where I built a deep academic background across multiple disciplines: 4 years of chemistry (up to post-organic Advanced Topics), 3 years of physics (through AP Physics 2), and 3 years of biology (through AP Biology, score: 5). In math, I completed 4 years through AP Calculus BC (score: 5) and Linear Algebra, and I’ve continued with applied linear algebra and multivariable calculus at Stanford.
In addition to math and science, I’ve worked with students across a wide range of subjects, including:
SAT Math & English (students improve ~250 points on average)
Precalculus, Calculus, Trigonometry, and advanced math
High school chemistry and biology
AP Literature/Language and essay writing
College essay writing and application preparation

Hi! I’m Angela, a Stanford student with 3+ years of experience tutoring math and chemistry through various tutoring agencies. I specialize in precalculus, calculus, trigonometry, and chemistry, and I scored 5s on AP Calculus BC and AP Chemistry, as well as completed AP Physics 2.
My teaching approach is personalized, structured, and results-driven. I focus on helping students truly understand concepts (not just memorize steps), so they can perform confidently on exams and in future courses. I adapt each session to the student’s goals, whether that’s quick homework help or long-term academic improvement.
A typical lesson includes:
Identifying goals (homework help, test prep, or ongoing support)
