About Shreeja

Hi, I'm Shreeja, a computer science student. I started coding when I was about 12 years old. I was self-taught.

Having been a Section Leader for Stanford University has equipped me with the flexibility of working with students globally alongside helping students of different ages, skill levels, and backgrounds. We help guide a community of 1600+ students. I work closely with around 15 students. I have also participated in many selective programs such as the MIT Beavers Autonomous RACECAR course, giving me insight into how courses like these are structured.

I strive to provide a safe environment for all students and support them in every way I can. I do this through my networking ability. Currently, I'm participating in research in data privacy and AI and have been selected for a chance at a $15,000 grant for my work. These alongside a multitude of programs allowed me to have been nominated to present and connect with panelists from Google Brains, Prudential Financials, IBM Quantum, NY Times, etc.

I'm well versed in the following Computer Science topics:

Python (Flask, Scikit -Learn, Pandas, Matplotlib/Seaborn, Numpy, explored Algos like DBScan, Decision Trees, Random Forest, KMeansClustering, KNN Classification, etc., OpenCV, TKinter, Tableu)
Java (Greenfoot & Maven)
Web Dev: JS (React, Svelte, Node JS), HTML (Bootstrap), CSS (Tailwind), TypeScript
Mobile Dev: React Native

R programming
6502 Assembly Language
C programming
Network Security (Sockets and Threading using Java

I have furthered this knowledge through certifications such as from Google in Data Analytics.

Are you looking to improve your programming skills or learn a new language? Look no further. I am dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and become a proficient programmer.

I believe in creating an engaging environment in which I try to encourage students to understand fundamentals and big ideas, not just programming syntax.

I hope to provide PRACTICAL lessons, filled with projects and connections to the real world.

I strive to utilize VISUAL aids, interactive tools (such as word clouds), and animations/simulations to enhance comprehension and retention.

I offer 1-1 tutoring to middle school-high school students.

This course is aimed at beginner coders with little to no experience in programming. By the end, students would be able to create their own portfolio and explore many other types of websites such as interactive dashboards, landing pages, etc. I am flexible in teaching both basic web frameworks like HTML, CSS, and JS alongside with deployment tools like Docker plus more advanced extensions like React, Svelte, TypeScript, React Native, etc.

I will strive to make this experience customizable for every student based on their interests and goals.
