About Jack
I am currently a choral scholar at Liverpool Cathedral. After growing up in Hampshire, I read Music firstly at Cambridge for my Undergraduate Degree, then at Oxford for my Master's. I am also a bassoonist and pianist! I would love to help anyone setting out to study music, and can tutor at all levels, including A-Level Music and ABRSM Theory Grades.

Anyone studying music has the happy advantage that their subject, as well as rewarding, is extremely enjoyable. I am more than happy to tutor at any level (including Music A-Level and ABRSM Theory Grades), and believe that anyone can aquire the skills needed to excell at music, be that aural skills, critical and analytical skills, knowledge of harmony and counterpoint, or argument and essay writing. My own specialism is Early Music, but I have been trained in music history and theory from all periods including the present. We will begin by discussing in what way my tutoring can best help you.
