About Ayse
Compliance with student characteristics is of great importance in the selection of teaching methods. It is not possible to talk about a single method suitable for every subject and learning level. For this reason, while choosing the methods, it is necessary to pay attention to the objectives, the characteristics of the student and the subject.
Some basic skills need to be acquired in foreign language teaching. There are issues that need to be considered while gaining these skills
. In addition, a method should be followed in the acquisition of these skills
. Random or methodless foreign language teaching would be a waste of time
and a waste of effort. For this reason, it is the right choice to learn from teachers who have been trained in this job.

THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING METHODS AND TECHNIQUES
1. Audiolingual Method (ALM)
The method is the product of three historical conditions. The basis of the method was primarily the work of American linguists such as Leonard Bloomfield.
2. The Total Physical Response Method (TPR)
The Total Physical Response Method (TPR) is a language teaching method based on the coordination of speech and action; tries to teach language through physical (motor) activity. It draws on several traditions, including developmental psychology, learning theory, and humanistic pedagogy developed by James Asher, professor of psychology at San Jose State University, California, and language teaching procedures proposed by Harold and Dorothy
3. Communicative Language Teaching (CLT)
Communicative language teaching (CLT), or communicative approach, is an approach to language teaching that emphasizes both the means and the ultimate goal of interaction.
4. Task-Based Language Teaching
Task-based language teaching (TBLT), also known as task-based teaching, focuses on the use of real language and asking students to perform meaningful tasks using the target language.
5. Story-Based Approach
All teachers who teach foreign languages to children face a major challenge, which is not engaging students throughout the lessons.
