About Nayana
My name is Nayana Raj, and I am an Indian classical dance teacher with a deep passion for this beautiful art form. I have been practicing classical dance for several years, and it has played a big role in shaping my confidence, creativity, and personality. I also have teaching experience, which helps me guide students with patience, clarity, and care. I love teaching beginners and helping them start their dance journey with comfort and excitement. My teaching style is calm, friendly, and supportive, ensuring that every student feels confident in each step they learn. I focus on posture, rhythm, expressions, and the cultural meaning behind every movement. I create a positive learning environment where students can learn at their own pace without any pressure. For me, dance is more than movements—it is a connection between the mind, body, and soul. I encourage my students to express themselves freely and enjoy the grace of classical dance. My goal is to help every learner grow beautifully and develop a strong love for this art.

My classes are designed to help students learn Indian classical dance with ease. I begin every session with a gentle warm-up to prepare the body. Students learn basic steps slowly so they feel confident from the very first class. Each class includes adavus, hand gestures, expressions, and rhythm practice. I explain the meaning behind movements so students understand the cultural value. I guide students with clear instructions and step-by-step demonstrations. Students can freely ask doubts anytime during the session. My classes are suitable for kids, teens, adults, and complete beginners.
