About Olivia
Growing up, I felt pressure to always be better and better, and I developed anxiety about my playing. With an awesome new teacher, I unlearned my unhealthy habits and slowly but surely learned to love learning as my teacher gave me specific guidance while also encouraging me. I worked hard and qualified for the PMEA Pennsylvania State Orchestra Ensemble and continued to advance seats in my youth orchestra. Now, I am in my 10th year of studying the violin. In the fall, I’ll be studying at Swarthmore College and plan to join their orchestra. I hope to bring this same sustained love for music to the next generation of musicians!

Violin is a difficult instrument and can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be! Having gone through various youth programs, festivals, and masterclasses, and loving the community that comes with all of it, I’ll help you set your goals and challenge yourself while having fun!
