About Marc
Full professor at University of Montreal (criminology) for 34 years and now just retired. Ph.D. at Rutgers University (1990). Have supervised 6 Ph.Ds and 39 M.Scs over my career. Fluent in French and English.
I have produced quantitative research articles in scientific journals for decades. Just Google Scholar me.
I still have passion for teaching and really like to play around with SPSS data sets.

I can help you with SPSS, but also on how to plan the analyses, understand them and organize the material for your presentation of the results - from basic stuff like descriptive statistics, relational analysis (chi square, comparing means, correlation) to more advanced material like multiple/logistic regression, cluster analysis, factorial, etc.
My background is in criminology, but I have worked with many students in psychology, social work, sociology, political sciences, economics etc. Expertise in social sciences is important, because tutors with math and engineering background may not grasp of how statistical analysis is to be crafted to social sciences.
