About Alex
My goal is to ensure that each student leaves my tutoring session feeling confident about their knowledge even if they knew absolutely nothing going into the session. I want them to know that they can do anything they put their minds to and to feel confident in me as their tutor. My daughter did not understand math one bit and struggled so bad with fractions and more, and when I became her homeschool teacher she was able to pass math in all 6th, 7th, and 8th grades with an A!

I teach by showing the student step-by-step instructions and not moving on to the next step until the step we are on is completely understood by the student. A lot of teaches will move too fast assuming that each step is understood and I myself am a step-by-step learner and found out that I was more successful when I understood exactly why I was doing each step.
