About Christo
I was privileged to be trained, coached and mentored by world-class educators. Through them I realise that some school music teachers have forgotten why they started with music. The fun has really disappeared from the teaching. Through that I decided I want to ensure that my students are well-rounded (not single-minded) students who will experience any form of musical training in an exciting environment where I come down to their level (eye-level training is extremely important to me).
I have a bachelor's degree in music from the University of Stellenbosch. I studied piano under Bennie van Eeden, singing under Andre Howard and Minette Du Toit-Pearce and organ and harpsichord under Prof. Mario Nell.
I have extensive experience in group training, especially in band format.
