About Alex
Giving one-to-one tuition is relatively new to me, but I have taken part in pleanty of science communication in the past.
Experiences include; blogging for the Royal Society of Chemistry ChemNet Community and public speaking about my research in the Birmingham NEC arena.
I also have a hands-on approach to science, so love to film various chemical reactions for others to see.

I am a current MChem student at the University of York, with a passion for the chemical sciences.
In the past I have delivered lessons in primary schools as a STEM Ambassador for wales and have tutored other students on my course.
My tutoring style can be varied depending on your exact needs, but sessions will most likely be going through practice questions, providing motivation and covering theory (textbook material).
I believe that having a basic understanding of topics (often ones that are not on the syllabus) can help when it comes to unseen problems in exams.
