About Akash
I’m a dedicated STEM tutor and current PhD researcher at the University of Leeds, specialising in Stem Cell Engineering. My academic track record is consistently top-level, from achieving an A* in GCSE Maths at 13 to earning scholarships and high grades throughout university. I’ve studied Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Engineering, and Clinical Sciences at advanced levels, giving me a strong, broad foundation to teach from. I’m professional, organised, and explain concepts in a clear, direct way that helps students improve fast. My goal is simple: build confidence, fix weaknesses, and raise grades with focused, structured teaching.

I teach with a straight, structured approach: break the topic down, show the method, drill problems, then test understanding. Lessons are usually 1 hour, focused on exam technique and real comprehension, not memorising. I’ve tutored GCSE students before and have a strong STEM background: Leeds PhD (Stem Cell Engineering), MSc in Tissue Engineering (Distinction), plus Maths/Physics/Chemistry at A-level and top GCSE grades. I teach GCSE and A-level Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths. Suitable for students who want clear explanations, fast improvement, and a disciplined study method.
