About Rawan

I double-majored in Biology and Dietetics and completed all pre-medicine courses, and I also achieved a master's degree in the Science of Health Care Delivery, so I have an extensive background in sciences and written composition. I've tutored since high school in all types of sciences, including biology and chemistry, and math up to calculus. My goal is to help students understand how to learn and to eventually not need me anymore!

About the lesson

When it comes to teaching a subject, my philosophy is to encompass all learning modalities: kinesthetic, visual, and auditory. I find that it not only helps with the retention and understanding of the material, but it also helps students understand what helps them learn. Additionally, I was the student who excelled in pre-college courses, but struggled once I got into college. I realized quickly that I had to change how I learned, and once I found that happy medium, I adjusted it to each student and level.
