About Maya
I was always an A+ student in math all throughout school. I also excel is assisting to create a positive learning schedule with students. Not everyone can sit at a desk and do homework and workbooks for an hour so it is important to balance all subjects at home to encourage healthy, reward based learning. Without a positive learning atmosphere it is difficult for any child to flourish.
I also like to work closely with parents to help assist their student to continue to grow with them at home outside of sessions!

I always loved math. Many of my friends in high school used to think I was such a nerd because I liked to help the teachers come up with tests for the class. Okay… maybe I’m a math nerd. But really, algebra and middle school math is not as hard as it may seem when there is someone there to guide you in your own learning style. Everyone learns differently so it is so important to meet every learner on their level. I promise you, math can be fun!
