About Ephraim
I learned Mathematics at a tender age from my father. Having been ingrained in me, it became my predilection and I've since had a penchant for the subject. With this versatility in the subject, alongside related subjects like Physics and Chemistry, I can conveniently teach others to a level of confidence. I have been teaching since I was thirteen years old and can surely empathize with many a student on the notion of Mathematics being a hard subject when not taught properly. I recently had feedback from a parent in Ireland who expressed joy over his son improving from 47% to 67% in Maths in just about three weeks. Also, I tutor two grade 6 pupils in Maths, English (English, Grammar, Spelling, and Reading), Science and Social Studies, the American Curriculum. These students, who were D students at the start of the lessons, are now between B and C. This quarter they are having A's, thus they will be B+ students soon. I teach based on the level of perception of the student. Each student understands at different rates and as such, the perspicaciousness of each student is paramount in knowing the right method of teaching. I pay close attention to students to get to assess their cognitive abilities and leverage that as a cue toward effective teaching.
