About Clara
Playing guitar alone for 13 years at my Boston studio taught me that staying inside your head is the biggest obstacle. I help players break out of the bedroom cycle so they can finally play music with others. I hold a BFA in Popular Music from USC Thornton.
I cover rhythm, lead, ear training, tabs, fingerpicking, electric technique, and gear maintenance. It is deeply rewarding to see people finally enjoy their instrument.

You will walk away ready to hold your own at a jam session. You hear a riff and know exactly how to handle it in a real band setting.
I draw on 13 years of teaching rock, blues, and modern styles to guide our time. We work through Hendrix and John Mayer tunes to build your technical control. I provide a monthly recorded review of your progress to track your growth. It is a genuine pleasure to help you move beyond the solo practice grind.
