About Cole
With more than two decades of swimming and coaching experience, I bring a wealth of practical knowledge, technical expertise, and genuine passion to every lesson. My journey began in competitive swimming before expanding into open water endurance events and coaching swimmers with a wide range of goals. I hold respected certifications including Swim England (ASA) Level 2 Coach, American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI), and First Aid and CPR qualifications. Throughout my coaching career, I've worked with complete beginners, fitness swimmers, triathletes, open water competitors, and adults rebuilding confidence in the water. My structured yet supportive approach focuses on improving technique, efficiency, endurance, and water confidence through personalized coaching, helping every swimmer achieve measurable progress while enjoying the learning process.

Every swimming lesson is built around you, your goals, and your confidence in the water. Whether you're learning to swim for the first time, refining your technique, returning after a break, or preparing for a triathlon or open water event, I create a personalized coaching plan that fits your ability and schedule. Coaching takes place in the water, allowing me to observe your stroke from every angle, demonstrate techniques in real time, and provide immediate feedback for faster improvement. Sessions may focus on water confidence, stroke development, breathing, endurance, race preparation, or all four competitive strokes. With patient one-to-one coaching, structured progression, and practical guidance, you'll build stronger technique, greater fitness, and the confidence to enjoy swimming safely and efficiently at every stage of your journey.
