About Jin-hua
I am a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan, and my lessons focus on understanding Taiwanese daily life through stories and conversation, not just learning vocabulary or grammar.
Many of my students are curious about how Taiwanese people actually live, speak, and think — from everyday places like convenience stores to social habits and modern culture.
I create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking from the first lesson, while gradually building real communicative confidence.
With a structured yet flexible approach, I adapt lessons to each student’s level and interests.
My background in languages allows me to explain Mandarin clearly in English and Spanish, helping learners understand not only the language, but also the cultural context behind it.

This lesson is designed for A2–B1 learners who want to improve their Chinese through stories, daily life topics, and Taiwanese culture.
Lessons are based on guided conversations, storytelling, and real-life situations, helping students speak naturally and confidently.
We explore everyday experiences, cultural habits, social interactions, and simple narratives that reflect how Chinese is actually used in Taiwan.
The focus is not on memorization or exams, but on expressing ideas, opinions, and personal experiences in Chinese.
Lessons are adapted to each student’s level and pace, creating a supportive environment where making mistakes is part of learning.
If a student later needs Chinese for work or professional situations, related topics can be introduced gradually and naturally.
