About JUSTIN
I am a dedicated junior at Wayzata High School with a strong academic background and a passion for economics. Having maintained straight A's in both AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics, and scoring a 5 on the AP Macro exam, I have a deep, thorough understanding of the material and know exactly what it takes to succeed in these challenging courses.
Beyond my academic achievements, I pride myself on being patient, organized, and highly dependable. I know firsthand how overwhelming economics can feel when you are first introduced to concepts like supply and demand, market structures, or aggregate supply. My goal as a tutor is to create an encouraging, stress-free learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I am incredibly organized with my lesson planning, punctual, and fully committed to helping my peers build the confidence they need to ace their classes and exams.

As a Wayzata High School junior who earned an A in both AP Macro and AP Microeconomics—and a 5 on the AP Macro exam—I know exactly how to break down complex economic concepts for beginners. My lessons are designed for high school or middle school students who are brand new to economics or looking to get a head start on their AP classes.
A typical 60-minute lesson with me includes:
Concept Review (15 mins): We break down tough topics like supply/demand curves, elasticity, or monetary policy using simple, real-world examples rather than dense textbook jargon.
Active Graphing (20 mins): Economics is all about the graphs. We practice drawing and shifting curves step-by-step together.
Practice Questions (20 mins): We tackle actual past AP-style multiple-choice and free-response questions so you learn the exact tricks to scoring high.
Wrap-up & Strategy (5 mins): We review the core takeaways and map out a quick study plan for the week.
What sets me apart is that I just took these classes myself. I understand exactly where students get tripped up, and I share the specific study habits, memory tricks, and graphing shortcuts that helped me maintain straight A's. Let’s make economics easy and stress-free!

Justin was quite an intellectual peer of mine and helped me better understand rigorous AP courses such as AP Calculus. He also taught me one on one tennis lessons. At first, I had no idea how to swing, but his patience and expertise allowed me to greatly improve my efficiency. Overall, Justin is truly an amazing instructor who is very versatile, patient, and creative.
JUSTIN ZHOU IS MY FRIEND FROM SCHOOL. HE HAS HELPED ME ACE MACRO AND GET AN A IN THE CLASS AND A FIVE ON THE TEST YAYYAYAYAYA.
I have known Justin through high school and badminton at my local church. He is an excellent Superprof because he is very dedicated to teaching people about badminton and is very patient. He is really good at teaching the proper techniques while remaining patient. He once helped me learn the backhand serve when he saw me struggling with it. I would absolutely recommend him to other learners; he is patient and shows a lot of passion for the sport.
Justin is kind, hardworking, and an excellent teacher!
Justin is an amazing badminton tutor! He is my best friend who coached me in a sport I was not familiar with before. He helped me develop skills that made me a competitive player and I highly recommend him!
Justin is an amazing tutor. He is the best and most qualified badminton player I know, leading him to become one of the best players in the state. Besides excelling at what he is tutoring (badminton), Justin also highly prioritizes effective and efficient teaching. He is always there to guide you, but he does not just show you how to do something. Instead, he tries to walk you through the best processes and he also teaches through repetition and mistakes. He critiques every nuance and does not leave any stone unturned. I've known Justin for a long time, and his personality always focuses on giving the best experience to others.
