About Shairi
Having achieved top grades throughout school, with 11 Grade 9's at GCSE and 4 A*s at A-Level*, as well as an offer to read Russian and Philosophy at Oxford University, I believe that I know how to revise efficiently and wrap your head around difficult material. I am keen to help others do the same through tuition, since I have experienced for myself how one-on-one support can make such a difference to your understanding of a topic by explaining it in a way which makes sense to you and identifying at what step in the process understanding breaks down.

I have over 6 years of childcare experience, and as an aspiring teacher, I am passionate about tuition. I will tailor my teaching approach to each child, but I have found that visual aids and frequent Q and A's, especially to refresh previous topics, are particularly useful. Each of my lessons is typically an hour, although I am willing to adapt this to suit the needs of the tutee. I tutor ages 6+. I love working with kids and am happy to offer a discounted trial lesson if desired.
