About Carlotta
Teaching chess requires a disciplined mind that prioritises logical deduction over mere intuition. Holding a BSc Statistics from the University of Warwick allows me to analyse positions with the same mathematical rigour I apply to tournament preparation.
Over 13 years, I have guided 150 students including adult improvers and competitive club players through the complexities of middle game planning. These sessions help students master calculation and visualisation while maintaining calm under the pressure of a ticking clock. My experience has shown me that even the most complex game can be broken down into repeatable, methodical patterns. I look forward to helping you refine your defensive technique and build your next winning streak.
