About Jade

My passion for economics began with curiosity about why some communities flourish while others struggle under the same conditions. This curiosity guided me toward earning a Master’s Degree in Applied Economics and Policy Analysis, where I examined global markets, development strategies, and behavioral economics. Over ten years of teaching, I have had the privilege of mentoring students who initially felt intimidated by numbers and theories, guiding them toward intellectual independence and clarity. I approach teaching as a journey of discovery rather than instruction alone. Each student brings a unique perspective, and I tailor my explanations to support different learning styles. I value open discussion, encouraging learners to question, debate, and think beyond the surface of information. My goal is to create understanding, not memorization, and to inspire students to connect economic theory with real-world relevance. Outside of teaching, I continually study emerging economic trends, policy changes, and global financial movements. I also engage in independent research and attend professional development seminars. Economics, for me, is a living field that evolves every day, and sharing its insights with my students is both my responsibility and my greatest fulfillment.

About the lesson

Economics is the story of how decisions are made, resources are allocated, and societies evolve. In my lessons, I strive to turn complex economic ideas into meaningful, relatable narratives that reflect real-life behavior and global dynamics. The classroom environment is structured yet welcoming, allowing students to freely explore concepts such as scarcity, opportunity cost, and market interaction without feeling overwhelmed. Rather than focusing purely on formulas, I highlight the human element of economics, showing how emotions, incentives, and choices influence everything from personal budgeting to international trade. Beginner learners are introduced to core principles such as supply and demand, inflation, basic market structures, and consumer behavior. Intermediate students explore elasticity, production costs, fiscal and monetary policy, and business cycles. Advanced learners examine macroeconomic indicators, economic development models, international economics, and data interpretation. Each lesson includes real-world case studies, graphical analysis, and scenario-based discussions to strengthen critical thinking. I also offer targeted support for coursework, projects, and exam preparation, ensuring clarity in both written and quantitative economic reasoning. Through this process, students begin to see the world through a more analytical and informed perspective. They gain confidence in decision-making, improve analytical discipline, and develop a deeper understanding of how economic forces shape societies. My mission is to cultivate thoughtful individuals who can interpret trends, challenge assumptions, and engage responsibly in an interconnected global economy.
