About Chris
I come from a punk and DIY background—playing in basements, figuring things out by ear, loving the raw energy of just making noise with friends. But over time, I dug deep into the legends: Prince, James Brown, Quincy Jones, BB King, Larry Graham, Little Richard. I studied what made their grooves hit and their songs timeless—not in a textbook way, but by feeling it, learning it, and applying it. I bridge that raw, authentic love of music with the fundamentals that get you playing fast and confidently. I teach from experience, not ego—so you can find your sound.
