About Burak
I am a Structural Engineer with a PhD in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London and an MSc in Structural Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
My background combines both academia and industry. I have worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Warwick and the University of Aberdeen, and as a Structural Engineer at Foster + Partners. I am currently working in the UK as a Civil Structural Engineer in the nuclear sector.
Throughout my career, I have specialised in structural analysis, including nonlinear modelling, composite structures, and seismic design. I have also been actively involved in teaching and mentoring students at university level, which has helped me develop a clear and effective way of explaining complex engineering concepts.
I am passionate about helping students not only succeed in exams but also build a deep understanding of structural behaviour and real-world engineering applications.
