About Zuri
For the past 7 years, I have been teaching violin to students of all ages and abilities. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, individualised guidance, and inspiring a love for music. I focus on developing technical proficiency, sight-reading, music theory, and expressive performance while tailoring lessons to each student’s pace and goals.
I have taught more than 200 students, many of whom have successfully performed in concerts, recitals, and competitions. My lessons combine structured practice with creative exercises and performance preparation, making learning both effective and enjoyable. I aim to help students achieve their full potential while fostering confidence, discipline, and a lifelong passion for music.

Being supportive is central to my teaching. I celebrate achievements, provide constructive guidance, and help students navigate challenges with patience and encouragement. Lessons balance technical skill, musicality, and personal development.
In addition to violin, I teach other subjects with the same compassionate and communicative approach, inspiring curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong passion for learning.
