About Eugene
As a teacher, I want to bring out the best for my students. With this in mind, I am very big on ethics and keeping confidentiality a big priority. Also, I'm very big on encouraging to understand a lesson. My motto, "I'm here to help you, not hurt you!" I seriously mean that with all my heart. I'm here for you and for your successes!

My name is Eugene. I'm a licensed math teacher and been teaching math in grades 9-12 for 13 years. I have a Bachelor's in Chemistry with a minor in mathematics and physics, and I have a master's in business administration. With degrees in different areas, they alI require math and that's where I make math understandable and relatable. I've taught all kinds of kids: Regular ones, AP kids, & ALE/at-risk youth. With many experiences with different students at different levels, I can quickly and easily take a concept that's hard to understand and make it so understandable, it will seem like you are back in elementary school. I encourage you to ask questions, because I'll ask plenty to make sure you understand what you're doing. All I ask from you is to be honest, especially when it comes to the phrase, " I don't know" and don't be afraid to give me the wrong answer. I like wrong answers, it give me insight on how you're thinking and to clear up misconceptions and misunderstandings and any bad habits you learned along the way. What I tell my students everyday is that "I'm here to help you, Not hurt you!" I encourage not discourage!
