About Sarmad

I am a lifelong learner and passionate student of the English language, currently working as a Postgraduate Research Scholar on a fully funded scholarship. My academic journey and love for literature have inspired me to help others develop strong skills in academic writing, essay writing, thesis development, and English test preparation.

For the past four years, I have been teaching students in English Literature, Academic Writing, Essay Writing, Research Writing, and English test preparation. I enjoy helping learners turn their ideas into clear, well-structured, and persuasive writing.

Currently, I serve as the President of the Literary and Linguistics Society in my university’s English Department, where I organize literary discussions, academic activities, and mentoring sessions for students interested in literature and language.

I also had the opportunity to study as an exchange student at the University of Zurich, which broadened my academic perspective and strengthened my understanding of international academic standards.

Several students I have supported with essays, research papers, and thesis writing are now studying at international universities, and seeing their academic progress is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

I believe learning English is not only about grammar or exams—it is about expressing ideas clearly, thinking critically, and engaging with the world through language and literature.

About the lesson

If you are struggling with IELTS writing, English essays, or thesis development, my lessons are designed to help you build the skills and confidence needed to succeed in academic and professional environments. As an English Language and Literature tutor and postgraduate research scholar, I combine strong academic knowledge with practical strategies that help students improve their writing, research, and critical thinking.

My Teaching Methodology:

My approach is student-centered, interactive, and practical. Instead of relying on memorization, I focus on helping students understand how strong academic writing works. I guide students step-by-step through the process of developing clear ideas, structuring arguments, and expressing them effectively in English.

My lessons often include:

(1) Breaking down essay and thesis structures
(2) Practicing IELTS writing tasks and feedback
(3) Developing critical reading and literature analysis
(4) Improving grammar, vocabulary, and academic tone
(5) Learning research and citation techniques
(6) Students receive personalized feedback and practical exercises so they can immediately apply what they learn.

A typical lesson usually includes:

(1) Identifying the student’s goals or challenges (IELTS band improvement, essay writing, thesis support, etc.)
(2) Explaining key writing or language concepts
(3) Working together on examples or exercises
(4) Reviewing and improving the student’s writing
(5) Providing clear strategies and guidance for future assignments
(6) Each lesson is tailored to the student’s learning pace and academic needs.

What Sets My Lessons Apart:

What makes my lessons different is the combination of academic research expertise and practical writing guidance. As a postgraduate research scholar, I understand the challenges students face when writing essays, research papers, and theses.

Students benefit from:

(1) Step-by-step guidance in academic writing
(2) Detailed feedback on essays and research work
(3) Practical strategies for IELTS writing tasks
(4) Support in understanding English literature and literary analysis

Who These Lessons Are For:

(1) Students preparing for IELTS or other English proficiency tests
(2) Undergraduate and postgraduate students working on essays, research papers, or theses
(3) Students studying English literature or humanities
(4) Learners who want to improve academic writing and critical thinking
(5) Anyone looking to strengthen their academic English skills

My goal is not only to help you complete assignments but also to develop strong writing and analytical skills that will benefit you throughout your academic career. Whether you need help improving your IELTS writing score, developing strong essays, or completing a thesis, my lessons provide structured guidance and personalized support to help you succeed.
