About Jalen
Hi, I’m Jalen – a recent boarding school graduate and dedicated math tutor. I specialize in helping middle schoolers and early high school students build confidence in math, from Pre-Algebra up to Algebra 2 and SAT Math. With a 780 SAT Math score and top grades in Calculus and Statistics, I know how to break down tricky concepts in a way that actually makes sense. I’ve tutored siblings, classmates, and served as a peer tutor at school — always focusing on making math less intimidating and more clear. I'm available any day in the afternoons, and I offer a free first session so we can see if it’s a good fit.
