About Sofía
I’m an Electronics Engineer with a strong passion for teaching and helping students truly understand mathematics instead of memorizing it. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in technical and logical fields where numbers, problem solving, and analytical thinking are part of everyday work, and that experience shapes the way I explain math in a simple and practical way.
I’ve always enjoyed explaining complex topics in a calm, clear, and friendly manner. Many students feel that math is difficult or intimidating, and my goal is to change that perception by building confidence step by step. I believe that with the right explanation and enough guided practice, anyone can improve and feel comfortable working with numbers, equations, and functions.
I’m patient, approachable, and used to adapting explanations to each student’s pace and level. My focus is not only on solving exercises, but on making sure the student understands the logic behind them, so they can face exams and university entry with confidence and independence.

Math doesn’t have to be scary, confusing, or full of memorization. In my lessons, the goal is simple: truly understand what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. I’m an Electronics Engineer, and that background shapes the way I teach, with logic, clarity, and real meaning behind numbers, equations, and functions.
My classes are especially designed for pre-university and high school students who feel lost with algebra, functions, equations, or problem solving. If you’ve ever said “I don’t get math” or “I’m bad at numbers,” you’re exactly the kind of student I love to help. We go step by step, calmly, without pressure, and at your pace.
A typical lesson starts by understanding the idea behind the topic, then we solve exercises together, and finally you practice with guidance until you feel confident doing it on your own. No rushing, no stress, no judgment, just clear explanations and lots of practice.
What makes my lessons different is that I don’t teach you to memorize formulas. I teach you to think. Once you understand the logic, math becomes much easier and even enjoyable.
