About Vish

Back in his hometown, Vish has a music band. Benhur is an acoustic singer/songwriter-guitarist duo, based in Kochi, Kerala, India. They envision a sound characterized by surreal, journey-based compositions that convey stories in the most subtle and dramatic manner. With a profound appreciation for strings and indigenous sounds, Vish has collaborated with their bandmate Amal Jose for the past four years to share their music. They've already released four singles from their EP and covered "Skinny Love" by Bon Iver. Their songs "Runaway" and "Dancing Chair" delve into themes of self-reflection and empowerment, while "By the River" offers realistic reflections on relationships, capturing the essence of love as most people experience it.

Nevertheless, their upcoming albums will be entirely centered on world music sounds. They've been dedicating their time to practicing and exploring various musical instruments and styles that will contribute to these albums. Their intention is to offer a unique set of sounds and styles with each EP. You can listen to some of their songs on Spotify.

About the lesson

In Vish's teaching approach, he follows the Guitar Method 1 book for guitar lessons and maintains a Google sheet to track weekly progress, offering exercises for students to practice until the next class. Vish's online guitar classes take place in his dedicated room, and he has students hailing from Australia, Canada, the United States, and Ireland. Every week, Vish schedules their classes, ensuring a personalized learning experience.

Vish's unique teaching techniques revolve around engaging with students to understand their music preferences, nurturing the musicians within them, and helping them realize their true potential.
