About Christen

Hi, I am a Lebanese student in my 2nd year of Computer Science, I am 20 years old and I started playing guitar in a conservatory when I was 10.

I was lucky to have a rather rich musical background:

After the conservatory, I joined a choir in which I stayed for 7 years (we sang in weddings, studio recordings, concerts, accompaniments for recitals, and all kinds of events.)

I was also part of a band in which I was guitarist and singer. We mainly did soft rock and pop. This lasted about 5 years.

Finally, I have fun producing music on the computer (I use FL Studio) in my spare time (Lo-Fi, Hip hop, Pop, House and others). I also give music production lessons.

Now , I no longer participate in much musical events so that I can focus on my studies but I really enjoy giving lessons to people who are passionate about music and who would like to get started.

Having a fairly wide and diversified course, being passionate, transparent, patient, flexible and close to the student, I think I am a good profile to teach guitar to passionate, ambitious and curious students.

About the lesson

I adopt a personal approach adapted to the needs of the student. Having identified his initial level, we first learn the basics required to get well started and then work mainly through practice.

Some people want to learn through a music theory-based approach which is more or less similar to conservatory teaching, while others prefer to avoid this path and want to learn mainly through practice, guitar in hand.

I can work both ways , although it is necessary to specify that it is required and important to learn a minimum of theory
